2017 Show
The lights are up and the show is running.  We encountered a little problem trying to use a new PC, but the old system jumped in as a stand in for now.  We are working on adding new music to the show and will keep you posted.  As always thanks for stopping by, be kind to our neighbors, and enjoy the new lights at the entrance of the neighborhood, just off of Stop 11!

Sorry for the delay, we were hoping for a dusting of snow and that just isn't going to happen with temps in the 60's! 

There have been a few additions this year, the spinning tree is back and some evenings Santa can be seen working in one of the windows!

Don't forget our food drive, donations can be placed in the tub by the mailbox.

As always be patient and be nice to our neighbors, we don't want to upset them with blocked driveways or loud music.

2014 Videos are up!

Thanks for being patient the 2014 videos are now posted to Youtube and are also linked on our video tab (there are four).  Quality isn't what we would have liked, but we wanted to get something posted!  As we have mentioned we have new RGB bulbs on the house so we are able to do more with less lights.  This year we quickly ran out of circuit boards, the new trees take most of the boards.  But as always, plan to increase the show next season!  Thanks for coming by!  Don't forget the food drive this season, on most nights there will be a box by the mailbox for your donations.  Merry Christmas!

The show is on!

The show came on without a hitch Thanksgiving night!  It is all new this year, incorporating new RGB pixels into the show.  This meant all new programming, so we've only got four songs at the moment.  We'll try to add one or two more soon.
What are RGB pixels?  They are strands of lights in which each bulb contains three lights - red, green, and blue.  By varying the intensity of each of the three colors, the bulb is capable of producing any possible color at any given point in time.  And the word "pixel" means each individual light bulb is controlled separately.
So gone are the days where the entire strand comes one and off together, all with the same color.  We can now decide which bulbs to turn on and which to turn off.  And for those that are on, separately control what color each of them are.  This allows for lots of different effects that you'll have to visit to see for yourself!

2014 Season

We are busy working on the 2014 show, it is totally different this year.  You will notice we have lost the large trees, but have added new features and all new LED lights on the house that give us the ability to make them any color and to do all sorts of cool new things!  Because of this it takes longer to program a song so we may be adding songs through the season.  We have also updated the times of the show, but monitor the facebook page for any updates once we see how the season goes.  We also plan to host a canned food drive this year so stay tuned for those details.  Enjoy!

Magic snow!

The show is currently at 100%!  Maybe it was the snow, maybe it was jiggling the wire, what ever it was we will take it.  Plus there is still time to cast your vote for the Indy Star. If you like us let them know.  We know we aren't the biggest or the fanciest but we try to have fun.

2013 Season

Well the season has begun, but one technical issue after another has left the show a little less exciting.  We apologize that not all of the lights are working, but it is still fun to come out and see the show.  We have added a new mash up of some popular songs from this year.  We are trying to work out the bugs, but it may not all be up and running.  Thanks for your continued support.  You are the reason we do this each year.  Merry Christmas!!

Tis the Season!

Many thanks to all of you who sent in your votes for the Indy Star Christmas light list. We once again made the list!  With the information in the paper and the expected snow, traffic will pick up.  We appreciate how you park along the road and allow traffic to pass, it is nice to be on a straight stretch of road so we don't cause too many issues. 

The show is now coming on at 5:30 instead of 6.  Weekend hours are 5:30 - 11p.m. with the show staying on till midnight Christmas Eve.  Santa has said he will stop by sometime Christmas night once he has a chance to rest from delivering all those gifts. 

We are glad you like the show and keep coming back and sharing with your friends and family.  It is a fun project for us!

2012 Season

The 2012 season has officially kicked off!  This year we have a new feature, a 10 foot tall tree, and new banners so you know what station to tune to, 93.7.  We are still adding new tunes, so the show will be changing through the season.

The best way to keep track of what is going on is to like Southside Christmas on Facebook, get the latest updates and special announements, you never know when the guy in the red suit might show up for a visit!

It's light hanging time!

We will once again have our light show for the 2012 holiday season.  Song programing has been happening and the lights will start to go up this weekend with the official lighting taking place the day after Thanksgiving!  Hope you can once again join us this year!

Merry Christmas!  Thank you to everyone that has visited our site or drove by the house this year!  We were once again excited to be included in the Indy Star's list of houses to visit.
